Aviation Careers Full Day Programme

Available for Key Stage 5 and Post 16

Explore some of the various aviation career options available you through this joint education programme between the Emirates Aviation Experience and London City Airport.

Complete an Emirates Airline inspired two hour careers workshop focusing on some of the customer service employment positions that Emirates Airline offer. Start by learning about the Customer Service Agent roles available within the airports that they travel to, including their responsibilities and important recruitment information. Then fully examine the position of Emirates Cabin Crew, from their daily roles and responsibilities to recruitment and training. You will also have the opportunity to try some mock assessment activities during this workshop, developing your communication, role-play and team-work skills.

Complete a one hour guided tour of London City Airport to see a working airport terminal in action. Be guided around one of the airports staff members, visit key areas of the terminal, talk to other staff members and travel to the private outer areas of the airport to watch aircraft take-off and land.
