Aviation Experience Guided Tour

Explore and discover the Aviation Experience in this interactive guided tour. Learn about 21st century aircraft, travel and technology. Discover what it would be like to work at an airport, the roles and responsibilities of cabin crew and what it would be like to be a pilot. Finally learn how planes actually fly. This session is accompanied by a range of props and equipment to help make full use of the exhibition.

Up And Away: The Science Behind Flight

Explore the world of flight in this interactive science workshop. Learn about how forces act on an aircraft, including lift and thrust. Explore air, aerodynamics and air resistance. Examine a real Rolls-Royce jet engine and learn how it works. Finally, discover the importance of aircraft design and materials using our replica A380 model.

Discover the aviation industry in this interactive and exploratory workshop. Learn about some of our past aviation heroes and heroines. Discover how aircraft are built. Explore airports and the items you would find on-board an aircraft. Finally take-off and travel through some global destinations before landing in Dubai and learning about its sights and smells.

Let’s Go Green: Sustainable Travel and Tourism

Immerse yourself in the travel and tourism industries in this practical workshop. Discover the developments in sustainable air travel, ranging from aircraft design to Emirates Airline’s Emvironment Project. Then explore the rise of sustainable and eco-tourism before, in groups, you design your own eco-tourism holiday destination.

Price per student: £5.00

Simulator Costs:   £60.00 (10 – 15 students)
£120.00 (16 – 30 students)
(Simulators are only available for Year 6 students)

Adult prices: Accompanying adults are free of charge on a 1:7 ratio. Additional adults are £3.00 per adult

Programme length: 1 ½ Hours (Fasten Your Seatbelt is 2 hours)

Student numbers: Minimum of 10 students per session.
Maximum of 30 students per session

Please ensure that your payment reaches us no later than two weeks before the date of your session.
